The Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11ac with 3 x 3 MIMO enables a throughput of up to 866 Gbps. When using two Wi-Fi modules, the bandwidth doubles to up to 1.7 Gbps. The wireless access point is backwards compatible with the Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11n for older devices and a longer range.
